Annotation:

In this education seminar for teachers of French, we will introduce alternative and innovative ways of teaching inspired by current trends in foreign language pedagogy. Participants will be introduced to them through workshops, where they will be able to try and learn them. We want to focus on contemporary, lively French, to help teachers enrich their repertoire of teaching activities and to bring elements of play into French teaching, with the aim of promoting students' motivation. In addition, we would also like to provide participants with the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas and experiences. In this French teacher training seminar, we will introduce alternative and innovative ways of teaching inspired by current trends in foreign language pedagogy. More information:

a) Preparing a French lesson: Artificial intelligence as a personal assistant (120 minutes) – lecturer: Moïse Lemonnier

Artificial intelligence can do much more than just ‘chat’. In this hands-on workshop, we will explore Google AI Studio, a powerful tool that allows you to configure AI according to your own teaching rules. We will see how to use it to help you correct and comment on written work in detail, generate contextualised vocabulary lists and create independent grammar exercises.

b) How can you turn the DELF/DALF exams into a motivating goal rather than a source of stress? (120 minutes) - lecturer: Cécile Sanz

DELF/DALF exams are often seen as a source of stress and an unattainable goal for learners, even though obtaining a DELF/DALF diploma is an undeniable asset for them. Together, we will look at how to present and approach the exam in a calm and appealing way. Fun educational activities and exercises will also be suggested so that you can incorporate them into your lessons to prepare students for the DELF/DALF exam in an interesting, innovative and stress-free way.

c) Developing oral interaction from level A1–A2 onwards (120 minutes) - lecturer: Valentin Nambot

This workshop offers practical, easy-to-use tools for stimulating oral expression in French learners at levels A1–A2, even those with limited vocabulary and grammar skills. The aim is to help them speak with confidence and communicate authentically in class. (120 minutes) -
