Annotation:

The Faculty of Economics at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice is organizing a lifelong learning course on the attractive and topical subject of "Criminalistics, criminology, and victimology in an economic context."

More information:

Participants will learn not only about modern methods of detecting and investigating crime, but also about the deeper social and economic factors that influence criminal activity. The course connects the worlds of security, justice, and economics, showing how financial flows, market mechanisms, and technological innovations are related to the emergence and prevention of crime. The program is designed for anyone interested in security issues, law, public administration, or economics, and offers a unique opportunity to understand crime not only from the perspective of the perpetrator and victim, but also in the broader context of how society and the market function.

The course will take place on October 25, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The course is followed by Police Law and Police Activities for Management Practice. If you complete both courses, you will receive a discount of CZK 200 on the second course.
