Do you want to teach, or do you want to actually teach? (a course for teaching staff at the University of South Bohemia)

The course focuses on developing teaching and presentation skills. Participants will learn how to prepare and structure lessons effectively, set learning objectives, use interactive methods, create engaging presentations, and make use of visual aids and non-verbal communication. The programme includes practical tips for making lessons clearer and more engaging, self-assessment of presentation skills, and the opportunity to receive feedback on participants’ own teaching demonstrations. The course offers specific tools and techniques to help improve the effectiveness of teaching and participant engagement.

The course will take place over 4 days – each day will consist of 8 teaching hours.
