The language of aristocratic residences in South Bohemia from the 16th to the 19th century and their architects

Annotation:
This lecture series will present the functions and architectural development of important aristocratic residences in Bohemia and Moravia over the long period between the 16th and 19th centuries. Along with the changes in the residences, the lecturers will emphasize the interpretation of the symbolic decoration of their interiors and exteriors. They will also pay attention to the lives of the noble builders, which in many cases were reflected in the choice of decorative themes for their residences.
Each participant will receive an email 3-5 days before the start of the course with all important information.
