19th-Century Czech Literature I

The lecture maps the changes in directions, styles, functions and genres in Czech literature of 1770-1856, especially in the context of European literature as a whole. It will focus on the diffusion of components of topical artistic styles in literary works and on the formation and modification of national model of culture and literature.
