Summer 2025 is coming and with it a wide range of suburban camps prepared for children by the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The offer is rich, from science activities to mathematics to sports. Sign your children up for an unforgettable summer adventure!
Suburban Camp with Natural Science 2025 - The Legacy of a Lost Explorer
📅 Date: 11-18 August 2025
📍 Venue: Faculty of science USB
The programme will be in the spirit of the whole-camp game “The Legacy of the Lost Explorer”, where children will face fantastic natural creatures and discover new secrets of nature.
The children will be divided into two groups according to age:
1st-4th grade (capacity filled, only substitutes signed up)
5th-7th grade (places available)
The program runs daily from 8.00 to 16.00. Day trips and evening campfire sessions are included.

Suburban camp of the Faculty of Economics - A week full of CHANGES
📅 Date: 25-29 August 2025
📍 Venue: Faculty of Economics USB
The camp for children aged 7-12 will offer a fun journey through the world of economics through games, puzzles and thematic activities. A week full of CHANGES includes:
Turning stress into calm
Exploring the transformations of the world's logos and advertisements
Virtual reality - battle for the medieval castle
Recycling and creative transformations
Insights into the transformations of natural resources
Suburban Camp - The Easter Island Message

1. 4-8 August 2025
2. turnus: 11-15 August 2025
📍 Venue: Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters USB
Children will be immersed in the story of Moai statues, unexplored writing and indigenous rituals. There will be adventure in the midst of nature.
Suburban camp with mathematical focus - Games without borders
📅 Date: 14-18 July 2025
📍 Venue: Faculty of Education USB
For children who love to challenge their minds and think strategically. Topics will be:
Navigation portal
Combinatorics, arithmetic, geometry
Strategic and logic games
The program also includes two full-day trips
Suburban sports camp - Jumanji
📅 Dates:
1st turn: 28.7.-1.8.2025
2nd turn: 4-8.8.2025
📍 Venue: Faculty of Education USB
This sports camp is designed for children aged 6-14. Lots of outdoor games, exercise and Jumanji-style adventure await them! Weather conditions will allow for outdoor activities in Stromovka Park or JU Stadium.
